Nice! Made your own M762 minus the big ugly upper pintle mount.

It is a pack mule, but also storage box, and "where did I put that" container.

In this picture, using it to collect fire wood from places inaccessible to larger trucks.

Always good to see these trailers being saved. Even modifying them a bit to suit your needs is great. I can't count the number of trailers we modified while in the service, we built tops, mounted ramps and decks, racks,a ton of fuel can mounts, and on and on.
When you toss 3 or 4 guys in the M151 you need a trailer to haul just their junk and if your cargo is any kind of crate or container it's a bear getting it in the back of a jeep!

Yep, tops seem to be of every shape and size.

Here is the hardtop we made for mine. It is still getting a few bits and pieces added, trying to get it "just right." But is for the most part done. It was intended to fit under the trailer tarp and look stock.

Had to waterproof the plywood with something. It got varnished, then painted, then what the heck, patterned painted.

Way cool Horst, can you show some more photos of the tent rig? Does it fold up, looks like it has a hard bottom?

Show off your trailer!

Don't have more pictures at present. But it is done pretty straightforward. I build a steel frame which sits on top of the trailer, the tent is a standard car roof tent and the frame is closed with waterproof plywood.
