Thanks buddy, I was wondering if I could do something like that with an antenna bracket for a light bar. I doubt it would shear right off like the last one I had. Even though I've replaced the light bar with another piece of black pipe, I'm worried it might happen again, and that next time it will destroy the light completely.

There was no modification made to the sugar scoop either. I cut a round piece of steel just slightly bigger than the base of the light, about 1/8th" thick, drilled holes to match the sugar scoop and light, and the whole thing bolted together like they were meant to be there....

I'll bet the hanger is large enough to drive around in the winter...
