M16A1 Mounted to Pedestal

Unread post by DevilDog7090 » November 8th, 2018, 10:28 am

Figured it out....took the bracket in the upper left in this photo and reshaped it to go around the pedestal, which is located between the seats. Can only mount one rifle, but that is all I want. Thanks.

Instead of going to all the trouble of reshaping the bracket just use the clamp portion of the appropriate size muffler clamps and put them under that bracket against the pipe.

Here's one pic for you, still looking for the one on left side of steering wheel, but maybe your original mounting is best

Mark,
Great....thanks. I just have no room in the driver and passenger compartments with the ROPS. I need to mount it to the M4. Got it ready to go....just waiting for the M16 which is in route.
Thanks again.....

Finally got my M16 mounted to the pedestal. Need to paint the nuts and bolts and touch up the pedestal, but works great and does not take up room in the driver and passenger compartments.
