Howdy!! Anyone have drawings, details, interior/installation pictures, part #’s or specifications on M151 armor kits ( official or bubba) ??
Just looking for details on what materials are used, how it’s mounted, etc.. etc..

There was an armor underbody kit put out by the military. That means there should be a MWO for it. Maybe contact Ken the Muttguru and see if he has any info on it. Materials would have been steel but I think if I were doing it for a restoration look I would definitely use aluminum for the weight savings. Unless you actually plan on needing it for blast protection. The top side armor was for the most part cobbled together with whatever the guys could find I think. Necessity is the mother of invention here.
