That is the best pic I can get as it came directly from my photos, this is on the frame rail.To make it better I'd have to do a tag make over which could make it worse looking.I guess I could paint the letters/numbers white/red?

This continues to amaze me!

Tested the vent tube that I connected, it vents into the fuel take both ways. I blew into the tubing and the fuel bubbled in tank, and siphoned fuel out. So, I guess adding the tube really didn’t matter.

I tested the coil today, ohms was 5.3. ?

Once again, starts and idles perfectly (with gas cap loosened). I wasn’t able to drive it to put it under load, but hope to get it on the road and see if it will not die.

That is the primary reading on the coil, what was the secondary? The coils can read good cold, then the readings can change when warm.

Bucket List Item - Have a picture taken of my 2D next to another 2D and with the bows removed. I'd post it on the site just to get a topless pair of double D's past Rick. :D

Did you check the secondary side? should be around 14-16K ohms.

Yes, that's from the screw terminal to the center metal port in the coil.

thanks for the link. No surprise that I found the Huey pre-flight article an interesting one...
