I'm getting ready to install a rebuilt transmission and can not find the torque spec for the pressure plate. I've found the flywheel bolt spec etc. but for the life of me I can't find the pressure plate spec. Maybe I'm going blind or senile.
Thanks for your help.

That is one of those pages you blow up and laminate behind plastic and mount on the garage wall.

Re: Pressure plate question
That's what I'm doing. New trans is in, got the motor mounts this morning, reinstalling power pack this afternoon. Should be gtg to test drive by late afternoon. Not as bad as I thought it would be. The old clutch was the metallic disk type and flywheel was pretty worn. Whole inside of bell housing and internals were coated in thick black slim. Looks like the rear main seal was leaking. I installed new main seal, new flywheel, new fiber clutch, pressure plate, TO bearing and pilot bearing, fresh rebuilt tranny. Hopefully it will act like a new one.

Is the transfer case difficult to remove? I may take it of before scrapping the transmission if anyone is interested in it.
PM if you need one.

Re: Pressure plate question
Transfer case is part of the transmission. Still curious as to why you are scrapping it? Not really interchangeable. You could swap some of the internal parts but there would be a lot of measuring and probable shimming. I would like to have it to rebuild but getting it here would be an issue.
