Gilbert 2025
Who's going? What are you looking for? I am trying to put together a pile of stuff to bring nd as usual I do not want to pack it all back in the trailer. I especially would like to try to get rid of some big and heavy stuff that is expensive to ship. I have two emissions gas tanks. A half dozen radio brackets. A couple of antenna corner mounts and one complete mount bottom to top with scoop. I have a complete arctic gasoline heater never out of the two boxes. Don't ask about spark plugs, I have a good supply of them but I also have 2 M37's and a M151. That is 16 plugs right there. I have a lot of loose hot water heater parts. 50 cal. ammo cans.
Let me know what you need.

Re: Gilbert 2025
I will be there Friday.
I could be persuaded to take home a good differential if the price is right.
The only thing I really want to find for my jeep is a canvas cover for the RT-524 that doesn't cost as much as an engine.
I also want a USMC M416 trailer OR a similar size military flat bed trailer but I don't expect to find one of those there.
Anyone looking for a Teletype system? I have a AN/UGC-74, AM3349/GRC-106, and a RT834/GRC-106. Like 150 lbs of comm equipment I would like to sell.
I should have a freshly rebuilt 25 amp generator and old style voltage regulator available for sale. The alt/gen rebuild shop should be done testing those this week.

I have about a dozen differentials but they are all used. I could go through them and see if I can find one that feels like it is in good condition and trade for the generator. I have plenty of newer electronic regulators so you could sell that separately.
I would open some of the diffs up to check them but I have got to start packing things up tomorrow.

Re: Gilbert 2025
I think there is a good gap between the value of a good used differential and the value of the rebuilt generator, but that is just based off of the bargain prices I saw being asked for NOS differentials at Findlay. Someone was clearly trying to clear them out and not take them home at $200 for a pair. I have at least $300 invested in the rebuilt generator with new rotor and pully, plus labor.

Re: Gilbert 2025
At 200 a pair I would have bought all of them if they were NOS in the box. These diffs are not being made and neither are a lot of the parts. I have not rebuilt the pile I have because the the one double sided race can be between 60.00 and 5oo.oo if you can find them. I am going to have a large scrap run after Gilbert and they are all going to the scrapyard. I also have a huge crat of front suspensions that will be joining them. It is a shame because someone wants them and I am sure I will hear about it after it is all gone. Reminds me of John Murray that had two dumpsters full of NOS doorframes. I went down to get a couple and he had scrapped them all. Told me nobody wanted them so he turned them into money another way. Same with 151 hard tops. NOW people are looking for them. They were all scrapped during covid when scrap, especially aluminum, was way up there.

R5-R6, If you go back to the bathrooms you can't miss the 36 foot RV and hopefully a yellow box trailer if I can get all the electrical gremlins worked out.

Re: Gilbert 2025
I don't have one but you never know what you will find there. I have noticed that over the last 5 years or so the 151 parts have really dried up. There used to be an older guy right inside the gate on the left named Carl and he had all kinds of 151 stuff, he had a half dozen searchlights and all the parts to go with them. He passed away a few years ago and his wife was there for I think one more year but gone now. I am not going to have any help this year so I will not be able to wander around to see what is there.

Re: Gilbert 2025
At red ball last fall I saw one or two M4 pedestals. At Findlay back in May a guy was selling M142 cradles cheap. Dont recall seeing those at Redball last time.

Re: Gilbert 2025
I will be bringing two late A2 gas tanks, a bunch of 1029 radio mounts. I have a complete arctic gasoline heater still in the boxes but I am not dragging that out unless someone speaks for it. I am also debating on bring a couple of Law launchers in excellent condition. Several A1 wiring harnesses in differing states of disrepair, Good for connectors or oddball connections. 50 cal. ammo cans and 40mm ammo cans. Tell me what you are looking for, I am trying to clear out a lot of stuff I do not need.
