If they are what I think you are talking about, I have 2 of them available for $10 each. Send me an email at skytroop232@aol.com
I'll take a couple of pictures and send them out.

the "sugar scoop" is a part of the antenna mount on the m151... its a three part unit, the corner mount, extension, and antenna mounting bracket/sugar scoop.

Its called sugar scoop because it resembles one very strongly...

Hey Tray,
Old sugar scoops were steel, and newer were aluminum. Might make a difference in the shipping cost. I've paid to ship both :(

Thanks for the advice rainman.an aluminum sugar scoop seems very practical. But seeing that it was only bob who responded, I may not have the luxury of choice :( no offense intended for bob of course :) I'm happy he replied

Trey,

I will be out in the barn tonight. The scoops I have are aluminum.
I'll drag them out and we can get this done for you.

Hey Tray,

I didn't mean that as a warning or anything, just FYI. I was working on a revolving beacon light to attach to a scoop, and found that I needed to enlarge the hole in the top of the scoop where the MX-6707 fits in, and I had one of each. Guess which one I picked to modify with a hand file? :D I'll save the steel one for my early Kaiser project.

I didn't make any mods to mine, just made an adapter plate sandwiched between the light and the scoop...

Hey Moose,

I picked up a red 24v beacon on ebay that had a glass lens and damn near fit into the hole provided. Kinda tight like I described on Cobra5's windshield cowl seal. :D Being that close to fitting inside, I had no choice but to file away at the hole till she fit. Then I found that these little discount store yellow revolving lights with the cig lighter plugs, could be ground down to fit the top, so I got a red, blue and another red, and modified them to work on the beacon and shazam, I've got multi-color lenses for the same beacon light. Old story, my digital camera is still down, so no pictures available yet. 3 colors gives me lots of options for convoy, CONUS MP, or Europe MP. :D

Rainman

edit: meant "yellow, blue, and another red", duh

Bob - Thanks, looking forward to seeing your scoops

Rainman - I guess I'm lucky Bob has the aluminum type. Now if I can just find myself a nail file :D

Jim - Nice pics. I want to set-up mine exactly like yours.

FLMV is selling the antenna kit corner mount for $30. I was told it doesn't include the scoops so I made this post. What I am not sure of is if the kit includes the extension, since the mount has 3 parts. :?
