Yeah I trust the site. I have bought from them a number of times. Never got a message like yours though. There have been strange things with eBay in the past too with third parties that got a hold of people's e-mail and tried to scam them. I'd be careful for sure but the items that are available on GB are often excellent and the variety is hard to beat. Gunsamerica is another online site that is pretty good.

I have a pyrotechnics license that says I can launch anything up to and including a 16" class A mortar launched display. Think that will qualify?

after you mentioned gunbroker;com, i signed on to check it out. interesting place but today i got an email starting with this

'A message has been sent to you by a user of GunBroker.com'
--- begin message ---
I saw this item for sale at GunBroker.com, the Web's Largest Hunting and
Sport Shooting Auction and the ONLY shooting sports auction or classified
site that provides Buyer's Protection against fraud. Check it out!
--- end message ---
what a bunch of bs.
It totally fake email from a pretend 'user' 24 hours after my request to watch the same item.
glad i didn`t register a credit card with them, do you trust the site??
why would they do such a thing?
I bought a rifle several years back from a person listing on this site and had no problem.
Update: OKay I just visited the site and it seems they will be down for awhile due to spammers and scammers.
