I have heard of the originals but I have never seen them either that I know of.
He has more alarms on his storage area than Ft. Knox!

You needed two units to cover the FM band, just like the RT-524 has it divided in two parts. That big rack did the same job as an RT-524 or 246. I have pics of the early wheels too I'll post them when I get home later tonight.

The radio set up in the pic is a ANVRQ 1,2, or 3 depending on wich radios are being used.The VRC 8-9-10 usually mounted on the passenger side sponson.I have the brackets used to raise the radio set up and in.Also have several of the early M151 corner mounts seen in the picture.
