Hey guys,
I've been going through some photos and noticed a difference between A-2's. Not sure if this is due to emissions or fording mods. Anyway, looking at the end of the master cylinder that sticks through the firewall. Mine has a hard line coming out the back. Other earlier models don't have this line. What's the deal?

that is part of the fording kit. Non fording kit equipped jeeps have a simple cap with a breather hole.

Moose,
The line goes to the air cleaner.
Horst,
I thought it was part of the fording kit. Mine has the fording kit installed and the others without the fording kit have just the cap. Of course the year differences made me beleive that it could be part of the emissions.

Tim: If this is what you are talking about? It's part of the fording system. I would consider this the front of the m/c and you seem to be asking about a line in back?

Floyd,
That's what I'm talking about. Now I know it is part of the fording system.
Thanks!
