Engine/drivetrain SOLD

Unread post by rdsar2k » October 1st, 2009, 10:09 am

Hey guys

Newbe here and I won't be around long.
I am restoring a 1955 M170 and in the process of parts hunting I stumbled onto something that should interest someone here.
I have a relative that does bodywork for a Hot Rod body shop in Fort Smith AR.
He owes me so we decided to get together and settle up so he is going to do some work for me on my M170 and as a side note he says he has a military drive train for one of those old Jeeps that he'll give to me for nothing. I looked at it and it is a Mutt train. Side draft carborator, band on drum emergency brake waterproof distributor, starter & generator, trans and transfer.
If this would help you out let me know.I'm not interested in helping someone make money in a re-sell but just to help a restorer like myself. Maybe there is a horse trade we can do.

email me at Shawn.Reed@Rheem.com if interested.

When he said he wasn't going to be here long I thing that time frame was measured in minutes or even seconds! Never to be heard from again.
