Body Handling

Unread post by sirhc » November 8th, 2009, 5:25 pm

I've pretty much stripped my 151A2 now, the only bits left attached to the body are the suspension units/wheels etc. I've left these on so I can roll it around, but they need to come off. How heavy is the body, and how have other people moved around stripped bodies? Can say 4 people lift it, or do I need to get all my friends round? I want to get it blasted and then stand it on it's side to start welding up the underside.

Anyone got any tips?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Most use a rotisserie at that point.

Chris, You can easily move the body around with four people, I have done it with two but I don't recommend it.

Jim, That rotisserie in the last couple of pics looks real familiar.
