Holy crap! the rear end whines really loud at 55mph. But its a great ride.

Nice and nice! I never paid much attention to the WWII armored Jeeps but they do not just add steel plate to what is there do they? The modify the entire body! I take it you have to climb up the front fender to get in?

I put a back door on it like a half track. The armor was usually bolted or welded on. I made mine from an original WWII jeep photo.

I had a whining problem with mine, as soon as i shifted to 90 grade military oil, everything went away.
In your gears picture i see your using a thicker oil which will eventually ruin the gearbox and the diffs.

That was actually the old gear oil (yellow in color). Ive drained it since then. Flushed it out and filled it with new 90 weight gear oil.
