1960 Ford mutt.. correct light assemblies are???

Unread post by F Bill » February 26th, 2008, 1:01 pm

Out here on the road I get to do a lot of Mutt daydreaming and thinking about what I still need for the '60 Ford.

Today's question... What will the correct taillight assemblies, reflectors, blackout lights, etc look like for this mutt? Are they the same as a M-38 ?

It's HK's old "run 1" project... And thanks to many here we have a lot of the needed early parts either on the way or already in the storage unit.

I'm stuck in the Portland area running tower sections to Wasco, OR. for about a month...should be enough time to save up the $ for taillights, I hope...lol.
Projects, anyone?

A M151 that is not an A1 or A2 will have tail light assemblies like that of the M38 and M38a1. The "cats eye" tail/brake light with a black out marker light on the left hand (drivers) side and the BO stop/marker light on the right (passangers) side. There are no turn signals. The cigar shaped turn signals on the fender is an A1 addition.

Hope that helps
There is one nut on a M151 that is very difficult to remove.....
