Antenna corner mounting

Unread post by pharbor1941 » December 10th, 2010, 5:16 pm

Recently bought a corner mount for my A2 but quickly found that the existing bolt pattern in the body does not match the corner mount that I purchased. Is there another corner mount that may have been used? The bolt pattern in the rear body corners are the same on both side. This was a Air Force jeep and I believe may have had a whole rack of commnication equipment in the back. There are also mounting holes on top of each rear fender well that may have held the rack. I would prefer to find the corner mount that was used previously rather than drill a bunch more holes. Sorry about the poor picture quality. All I had with me was my cell phone this afternoon.

That corner mount you saw on ebay looks like HMMWV'/HUMVEE to me.

I agree that the one on Ebay is primarily for HUMVEE but the bolt pattern sure looks like the bolt pattern that exists on my A2. Is there any other type of mount that would have this bolt pattern?
