Re: tires
Go with the NDT or NDCC. They perform great.baios wrote: hi guys once again a tire question!!!I drive my mutt with that tires that u all have see BUT... the problem with them is that are tiring my mutt!!Yes they are very good in off road conditions but in a daily drive my mutt suffer!!!I found here in Greece the military version like yrs over there and was thinking if it is a good choise to change them for summer and keep the others only winter!!Any suggestion about the handling of the military type tire or any advantage disadvantage!!!!

If you ride your jeep on tarmac a lot , and it is always raining i would not drive the NDT type tire.
I would choose something with beter grip in the wet. On the other hand if you do a lot of offroading your better of with the NDT type tires.
So you can ride the NDT all the time , just be carefull on the tarmac when it rains.......
Cheers.

I have radials on my M151, and I like them. There's a reason bias ply tires are almost extinct. They don't have as much traction in mud rain or snow in my opinion. They also don't get flats as often.

I have Firestone tires on my M151. The particular one is no longer made. Here is a picture of the tread. I wish I could find the tires you have.

Yes, but I would be afraid to run very far or very fast on it in the event of a flat, as it is probably quite old.Floyd wrote:Raymond is that a Goodyear NDCC?

Hey I am new on this list, but my first contribution will be to write that i use 215/85-16 radials on my M151A2 and I am so pleased with them.
I also have very good experiences with the smaller 205R16.
In my opinion the original NDT tires are to old fasioned and only suited for offroad use.
Try the difference, and you will never want to have NDTs on your MUTT
