chicom VC radio set

Unread post by kb0jyl » August 14th, 2008, 11:32 am

For those that have almost everything, I have a NOS Chicom (chinese communist) Vietcong radio setup. This is a back pack portable radio system. This includes the hf and vhf transmitter and reciever, running spares, antennas. I took them out of the waxed sealed paper about a year ago. Also has owners manual in chinese.

I had them set up at a show with a mannaguine in the complete black pajama outfit. Pretty startling for some folks.

Anyway a nice rare collectors set.

If interested let me know.

Not sure which set. I have never had it operational, but everything is there but the hand crank generator for the hf set. Vhf runs on batteries, 12 volts if I remember right, but never did put batteries in it.
