Thanks for the kind comments, don't worry we're not going anywhere... This is an old thread from way back when we first started up. I got a lot of "hate" mail from people outraged over the effect I would have on other sites by opening mine. Its been a few years now, and i think its pretty clear we have had no adverse effect on any other site.
What we did accomplish was to provide a forum dedicated only to the M151 jeep, where it is the primary focus and not an afterthought. We will probably never have a huge membership, (although we'd be well over 10,000 members if i didn't prune the spammers out) but those we do have share a real interest in our hobby.... This site will continue as long as our members find it to be of some value....

Thanks Jim for providing this site. I'm still pretty new to the 151 and I'm also a member on a couple of other sites that view the 151 as an afterthought (or so that's how it looks to me). It's nice having a group of guys that have the same interest, a bunch of knowledge and don't act like a-holes. Now, how about a pole to kill this thread as it's very clear what the answer is? :D

KEEP IT!

This is THE M151 site - anything else is merely "a jeep site".

You go, and you go to win.

Keep it open. The folks on the other site are not as friendly. This is the only site I go to for Mutts

Thanks for the comments and votes guys, I'm gonna lock this thread now since we just celebrated our 6th anniversary and obviously are not going anywhere. This thread was from the very beginning of the site.
