Body working !! Need mesures

Unread post by Alvaroxyz » November 4th, 2014, 1:19 am

Hi, i ve been working on the back seat floor. I removed the old/flat/ not original piece and made a new one! But i need some accurate mesures. The 5 "lines" ( i dont know the exact word for them) resulted to be too wide i think. Can anyone send me length of the top side, the height, and the length of the lower part?? Also the distance ( from center of each "line") beetween them. Heres a pic of my first attempt to make it. !! Thanks and keep in touch

Wow, Nice work. I am sure you will get a reply from Lpcoating. He is producing the rear floors for the 151 here in the states. I am guessing it would be too expensive to ship one to you but he might give you the measurements you are looking for.

OUCH! I can measure the rust bucket I have for you but it will not be until Saturday. It is dark when I get home from work during the week now, I hate winter! The measurements will be in inches, I do not have a metric tape or ruler.

The rear floor rib is the same as the trans cover and front floor ribs. If you can't use them as a reference I have the info from the tool that we purchased.

These dimensions (in inches) are from the bend center lines:

The base of the rib is 1.126" wide
The width at the top of the rib (from the inside) is .570"
The height of the rib from the top of the rib to the top of the floor is .170"
Bend radius (our tooling) is .085"
The angle of the bends are 49 deg.
Original floor thickness is 18 ga.

Hope this makes sense...

I didn't post anything because I could not have come close to that detail. That is why I was hoping Guy would chime in with that.
