My A2, quite literally "on parade"
Here's my A2 in staging for our local Independence Day parade. Gotta love how camo paint covers such a multitude of sins! It also helps to stand back a ways before snapping the photo.

Is that a cement mixer truck in the background Do you live in a small town. Looks like the kind of thing around here. I live in a small town and you gotta love small town parades. They are usually pretty short, so they let everyone in that wants in.

Thanks Jim... We have a few really nice slatties in our club.
Yup, that's a cement mixer in the background. The garbage truck and the fire bulldozer (on a lowboy) already went past.
My town is only 38k people or so.. but we live in the shadow of the Silicon Valley... over a million folks there. But we have the "official" Independence Day parade for the whole county. It's one of my very favorite events to participate in.

I don't know what that first, third, fourth and fifth vehicle is, but that second one is by far the best looking one. We have a bunch of small parades around here. The people appreciate the MV's more I believe. How much did it cost for you to have the planes fly over so you could snap that pic? (poor attempt at a funny)

Bill, you'd be surprised how much fuel it takes to get 4 biplanes into the air for a smoke on pass! I blew my allowance for the foreseeable future!
