I have never seen new bodies for either of them. The M-100's have not been made since the 50's!

Alvaro, Rick is correct. There are no new bodies for the M100 or the M416.

However, you can buy a new body for a Willys MB-T / Bantam trailer. This would be close to the M100 trailer BUT you would have to do the following:-
1. Cut an extra hole in the floor (the new trailer bodies have ONE drain fitting. The M100 has TWO) and fit an extra drain plug to the new hole.
2. Transfer the corner handles from an old M100 to the new body (the Willys & Bantam trailer bodies had NO corner handles).
3. Transfer the handbrake lever from an old M100 to the new body. (The handbrake lever is a different style).
It can be done but it helps if you have the old rusted M100 body....for parts.

Note: The Willys/Bantam trailer body is narrower than the M416 body, so it is not possible to do the same type of conversion....it will be too small for the chassis.

There are several dealers who sell the new Willys/Bantam bodies.

They also have trailer handles listed but as one of our members found out right at their plant that is not so. I would not hold out high hopes. And from past experience with M-38's the bodies may not be EXACT replicas.
