Anderson AR stripped lower from Brownell's
Anybody build with one of these.
The price can't be beat.
The biggest complaint I've seen is cosmetics, and a tight pivot pin fit. The pivot pin should be tight and some jewlers rougue should take care of that. I don't really care if cosmetics aren't perfect for a $42.99 receiver. You can get 5 for $200.00. I am going to build 2 lowers for the M4 I put together and the 22 M4 upper I have been using on my Colt lower.
Also thinking about a 3rd and registering it as a pistol upper so I can fit it with a short barrel upper, a wrist "brace" and thus have a legal short barrel rifle without having to do the NFA tax stamp thing.

Went to a gun show in St. Charles yesterday thinking I could find parts to complete my builds. Past couple gun shows there have been dominated by black rifles and associated black rifle parts. But not yesterday. It was mostly pistols. Tables and tables of pistols. Really had to fight off the urge to come home with a Glock 42. Guess I'll order parts from Brownell's .

Re: Anderson AR stripped lower from Brownell's
' purchased one from a friend of mine & assembled it into a faux M16A1 clone. Went together easy enough w/o any problems. I'd recommend Anderson but not PSA just my .02 worth.

Some of there grip screw holes are short threaded 3/4 vs 1" . Easy fix with 1/4 28 tap.

Re: Anderson AR stripped lower from Brownell's
Already built up two. No problems on the grip screws being short tapped, front pin being tight, or anything else. Function and fire just fine. Just haven't had time to take photos and post details.
