I have had my M151A1 sitting in my gated back yard for the last two months. Drove it yesterday and the tires felt like they were getting a bit out of round, really bouncy on paved streets. I have been using about 27-28 pounds pressure in the tires (they a the military non directional) and I'm wondering if I should go back to the 20psi. Any one else here have comment on best tire pressure? I know it was to be 20psi originally, but that sounds really low.
Thanks

Re: Tire Pressure
The -10 calls for 20 front and 25 rear on the highway, I run 25 front and back if I know I am going to be on the highway a lot but if I am doing mixed driving I run 20 and keep my speed down on the road. When running the trail rides in Virginia I run 15 and some of that is on the road but generally at 40 MPH or less and short distances, Mostly on gravel and rocky roads so the lower pressure makes for a softer ride.

Re: Tire Pressure
I run light truck steel belted all terrain radials and run 20 front and 25 back with no ill effects of wear or handling. The radials are a pretty high weight rating for such a lightweight vehicle.

Re: Tire Pressure
hi
it is normal you get a flat spot on your tire`s after long standing
if you run them they will get round again
my Volvo sugga has the same problem after standing a month or two

I run Cooper tires are 245/75R16, Discovery A/T3 tires at 35 PSIG. The ride and stability is great, on and off road. Highway at 65 is very smooth. At 55 I get a lot of angry looks down here in sunny Florida!
