Re: My new M151A2
To be sure! I'd love to have one (because when you need one you really need one) but just don't have space for something that is used that infrequently.
Re: My new M151A2
Keep in mind it can be used for a lot more than pressing bearings. It can be used as a press brake for bending metal if you make a die and press for the angle.

Re: My new M151A2
Gents, I have another question about the suspension springs. I think I mixed up my front and rear. Are the front ones longer? Or the rear ones. When taking the M151 apart the long ones were in the front but now while assembling the manual says different? Or am I wron.
BTW Now I wish I had bought the 20 ton press

Re: My new M151A2
I am pretty sure the rears are the longer, On an A1 they are. Go with what the manual says. Somewhere in there are measurements for the springs.

Re: My new M151A2
I checked the spring length. Everything is fine. I did not mix it up. Thank god!

Re: My new M151A2
Finally! The day came to put the truck back on the wheels and put the engine in. A friend of mine came by, initially just for a coffee and we ended up placing the engine in the truck.

Re: My new M151A2
I still need to put in the rest of the brake lines and drive train. For some reason I cannot motivate myself working under the truck. So instead I ended up placing in the rear wire harness etc.

And cleaning and painting the seat frames.
I dicided to go for a nice FS 24087 oliv drab in contrast to the forrest green/carc green of the rest ob the body.

Love the tank shifters T shirt!!! It would have been a lot easier to put the lines in with the engine out but when yo get help you use it.
