photos from my naked mutt
Hi Guys today I put off the roll bar and turn my mutt to be much more original now!!!!!(Hey only for the summer and little days on the September)
Re: photos from my naked mutt
Are able to go year round with no top on the MUTT where you live?
Re: photos from my naked mutt
Yeah Why not???
Re: photos from my naked mutt
I notice you do not have the upper support for the fording intake. Looks good though. Are you going to ride in the snow without the top? I thought only the Czech guys were that crazy.

Looks good Baios Do you get any snow where you live I think I remember some pictures you posted of your M151 in some snow, but it looked like it was up in some mountains.

P.S. You better put a strap on your ax or you are going to lose it.

Say have you used the winch since you installed it?

Re: photos from my naked mutt
Hey HTN I use it only at once and that because of testing it that's all!!!!I think it is obvious that our mutts do not need winch
Re: photos from my naked mutt
Balos, Greaomt to see all of your jeep. You sent me the front with your winch, but......the rest of your pictures are awsome. T

baios :
I know your windshield problem. Yours Is an A1 and you like to obtain one A2.
Your actual windshield is in incorrect angle whith the mutt body.
You must change or modifie the body hinge of the windshiel. They are diferent, A1 and A2 hinges have diferent S. number. Whe you can buy an A2 Winshield remember ask for the correct hinges.

Re: photos from my naked mutt
If you don't want to mount a winch to your Mutt you can always go with a portable winch like i use.baios wrote:Hey HTN I use it only at once and that because of testing it that's all!!!!I think it is obvious that our mutts do not need winch
I have a Master Lock 12V DC Portable Winch. It has allagator clamps that you can clip on to the battery terminals. It has a ring mount on the back that fits perfectly to the pintle hook in the rear or you can attach it to one of the tie down mounts on the front.
Here is the cheapest place i've found it: http://www2.northerntool.com/winches/dc ... -14293.htm
I've actually used it a few times and it has always worked with no difficulties.
I had the jeep buried to the frame in real soupy mud with the front end burried over the bumper (if you have a front mounted winch you would be out of luck) so i attached it to the pintle hook and pulled myself out with no problems or damage.
It's only a max of 6,000 lbs so it won't be that useful in pulling someone else out, but it works great for you light weight mutt (even with a ROPS).

Hey Mutt Vet,
Thanks for the tip. I like the idea of a portable winch, and the price is right. I've only had 1 situation that required one, and the AAA guy was not supposed to go off the pavement, but he did. No place to store it for daily driving, but when you know your going off road, it sure would be nice to have. Good here in Ohio for snowy weeks like this one too.
