1960 M151 UNCUT on Craigslist.... Not mine!!!!
Repeat offer for 1960 M151 UNCUT on Craigslist.... Not mine!!!!
This one has shown up on Craigslist a few times. It's very close to Orlando, FL $2000.
Needs some body work, and it is unclear if all the other parts are there. No mention of the condition of the bottom, but the rear bed is rusted through.
Appears to be kept in a barn for a long time.

This one?

Does not look like a straight 60 to me. Double vents are missing for on cowl. One fender looks like it has the extra support metal for a turn signal. I'd say an a1.

Yes, I forgot to attach the link.
Also, the emissions fuel tank, and later e-brake handle. It is certainly someones project car. I'm glad it's not mine!

Is it possible that not all 1960 trucks had identical features? I had a 1960 Fomoco, data plate indicated M151, not A1. Had the fender supports for fender-mounted turn signals (hidden under Bondo....) and only one cowl vent, on the passenger side.

No turn signals before 64 and A1. Data plates were commonly swapped around between vehicles. Just because the data plate says 60 does not mean it is true. Body tags and things like floor drains, rear blackout brake lights are pretty good indicators. The turn signals were added to a lot of vehicles. The dual cowl vents were a manufacturer specific item, I don't remember if it was Ford or Kaiser.
Also, that is not a support plate for a turn signal, just a hole in the fender. The original tank is behind it, notice that there are no lines hooked up and no gas line coming over to the passenger side. Never used emissions in A1's or straights. Has the very early bell housing.

Looks like a collection of 151parts.
Maybe the start of a project.
That's all.

Says it is a project that health has prevented from finishing. I wonder about the negative rear wheel camber, no spring maybe?

It looks like the M151 is sitting in the bed of a trailer or a deuce. With all of the other stuff piled under it, I wonder if the wheel is resting on top of something.rickf wrote:Says it is a project that health has prevented from finishing. With an empty body you would not be able to compress the spring that far. When I am on the trails I have the other back tire in the air and the opposing front tire in the air and the wheel is still not much past straight. Nowhere near full compression. I am thinking the spring is out of it.

Might not even be connected at all one of the pictures shows the front suspension and maybe a spare gas tank siting near the end of what ever it's sitting in

The 82d air dropped one a while back..... all four wheels looked like that! Partial malfunction and too much gear in the bed!
Faired better than our pallets of MREs dropped in to the Albanian mountains. Two burned in with cigarette rolls. SPECTACULAR! (unless you were the riggers.... then not so much!)
