I have to agree, with those main rails in that bad of shape it is going to be very hard to get things lined up and fabricated. And you are looking at making an entire vehicle basically. At that point you just go the aftermarket route and make frame rails and cross members from box tubing. Hopefully you didn't pay the guy anything for the work he did not do and in the long run it saved you money.

Yea I didn’t pay anything.

I really think I just need to sell the body for what ever it could be worth it has a title but since it’s not road worthy it’s basicly meaningless I’d also include the a1 windshield which is in good shape with 1 cracked pain
And the seats it came with that are kinda eaten up lol would sell all for 500

Well I primered as much of the body as a could today and I also cut out some of the cancer crossmember I’m gonna see if there is a local metal supply store so if no one wants to buy it I’ll just give it a shot

I stumbled onto this post by accident! Almost everything can be fixed, given enough time and patience. Both the bodies I have are missing the front frame rails where the bumpers mount and they have been pushed around with forklifts. Was the body cut?

No it was uncut

Body is sold to its new home now

I will be looking for a new mutt after my adventure in Korea

Still need to reseal the transmission though and build little storage crates for the bigger parts

Korea has been fun
Painted my korea hooptie 3 color woodland

I'll be heading to Virginia in December it seems and will be on the hunt for an A2 body if anyone know the of one in that area or surrounding states
