Re: WANTED ENCORE M151A2
How about a picture of all of them "en masse"

Re: WANTED ENCORE M151A2
Heres 3 of them. First photo the 3rd one back. The bottom photo I own both. These photos were easy to find from former posts. I'll try to take some photos of the other A2's and A1's after the Holidays. I am still looking for an Encore Jeep. I have all the parts so a tub would be fine if I can't find one rolling!
Rick........I was not trying to hide that A1 from you. It is a project and it will take sometime.

I Know you weren't hiding, I was just bustin' on you. You seem to have a good start on it so I figure you should be done buy summer. I would like to try to get out to Ohio to meet up with some of the mutters out there. I have talked to most of you and I would like to put a face on the voices. Rainman, I don't know about you, you were talking about modeling the thongs and I don't think I could handle that!

Re: WANTED ENCORE M151A2
I felt I led that thread with a rather clear disclaimer, and yes, I was talking about thongs, but nothing about me wearin em! I think it was Drew Carey that said of thong underwear...
"I remember when I used to have to move my underwear to see my ass, and now I have to move my ass, to see my underwear" Just another one of those mental pictures I could live without, but thanks for bringing it up!

Re: WANTED ENCORE M151A2
You may want to check with Dave Pizzoferrato at WeeBee Webbing.
A few years ago he had three bodies and most of the parts to put them together.
He had sold two of them and still had a third.
I think he said that the third one belonged to his brother in law.
You never know the brother in law just might want to sell.

I Purchased Dave 's last Encore body today. This was the first time I met Dave, he is a great guy and has tons of OD Cloth. I'll take photos tomorrow in the daylight and post them.

Dave is a real good guy.
I'm glad I could help you both out.
Everyone here on G838 has been so very helpful.
I'm pleased that I could finally help out a G838 brother!
Well have fun with your jeep in the box with some assembly required, batteries not included

Re: WANTED ENCORE M151A2
It did not come in a box. It is a new unused tub with a lot of assembly required. Encore did a decent job making the uni-frame, they should have spent a little more detail on the exterior of the vehicle. Overall it is built tougher than the original and when completed it will be a nice addition to my M151 family. I like to think of it as the new little step brother nobody likes.whirook wrote:

I hope to have it spinning like a turkey next weekend, I'll take photos of its construction.....I am sure it will interest some of you. Then I'll need to repaint it as red is not my favorite color.
I think we need to have a G838 vote on what color I should paint it. - - - - - - Moose can we do a poll?

Re: WANTED ENCORE M151A2
Dave does have a lot of cloth. I bought the other body he had last summer Painted it a nice color teal or aquamarine. It is sitting on the suspension now after rhino lining the underside along with foot wells. Steering in place and rear end wired. Next to work on the power plant. I'll try and get a picture today. By the way did Dave show you the PBR while you were there? That is something to see. He plans on sailing it to the MVPA convention next year. Told me I could water ski behind it with the stereo blasting out the Rolling Stones "Satisfaction". OhMy, what fun thath will be.
Re: WANTED ENCORE M151A2
Hey, I like them and if I knew he had it you probably would not have gotten it! I personally will be following the build.ohiomutt wrote:It did not come in a box. Re: WANTED ENCORE M151A2
It snowed last night here in Ohio. And when it snows I can't get my trailers down my steep driveway safely, so the Encore is sitting outside for a day or two. As soon as she is inside the fun will begin.
