You would think. Apparently the yoke had an original version that was replaced by the current one, really early in the production run. I purchased one from a G838 source, and after it arrived, I noticed it didn't look the same. When I compared it to another current yoke, the early version was shorter overall, with thinner flange for mounting the U-joint U-bolts. Splines looked similar, but the yoke would not slide through the mount. Wasn't going to work. Then I noted that the piece had been advertised as "Early" style by the vendor. I hadn't given it much thought, as sure, aren't they all interchangeable? No, they're not in some cases....

Vendor was good in replacing the piece after a call to detail what I ordered versus what I bought. And yes, I use the NSN and part number whenever possible in ordering items.

I have acquired all of the pieces that this post was originally seeking.

My other post regarding A2 shocks ties into this. An Ebay listing says it's for an A2, but what was shipped (matched the pictures in the ad!) turned out to be shocks for a Gama Goat. Now, I love the Goat/M561, but what I needed were the shocks that had been advertised for an A2. Not a perfect world, I realize, and I make my own share of less-than-informed purchases. Buyer beware, and double check!
