numbers on my A2

I wonder if anyone can tel me more on this A2: contract number--DAAE07-79-D-5016. SN 520182-D151-02202. No rust, never cut. good condition. Had it about a year. thanks for the help

Yes indeed. The dataplate details are for an M151A2 delivered to the US Marine Corps in 1979 or 1980 or possibly 1981. The only thing you need to be certain of is.... does this plate belong to this vehicle? Dash dataplates are easy to swap around.

Some pictures of your vehicle will be very much appreciated. The guys here LOVE to see pictures of M151s.

i believe 100% that this is all original. Guy Lomis from Cameron mfg came up for some parts and told me not to restore it. Thanks for the info!!

If you can find the body number down on the drivers trans tunnel that would verify the dating.
