Last year I got a great one for $4500 off a craigslist ad. No rust, complete, no significant damage. You have to keep your electronic eyes searching the old interweb, you need to be able to move quickly.
Re: Found on CL - (Not Mine)
vzike, have you been to Kentucky lately ? Someone from Florida bought up everything there, from a guy I met. ?

Yes, guilty as charged. Still trying to determine if spending $500 for fuel and lodging, and three days on the road made sense...... I didn't get everything. Someone from Mo or somewhere west was there the day before I got there and filled a truck.acudanut wrote:vzike, have you been to Kentucky lately ? Well, I'm sure it was worth the trip. Don't know who beat you there though.Vzike wrote:Yes, guilty as charged. Re: Found on CL - (Not Mine)
Damn! Look at the angle on that plow!!!! I guarantee you that plow has done a ton of damage to the under carriage from catching stuff in the road. The cutting edge is supposed to bu almost straight up and down with just a little back angle so that when it catches a hole or speed bump it will bounce over or tile the whole assembly forward. Not happening there! Not to mention I can tell you from plowing my entire life that any vehicle that has a plow on it is totally rusted out underneath because it is also living in a ton of salt all winter long. Now picture a 151 saturated with salt and brine all winter, I will bet it needs a LOT more than an underbody kit. You notice he did not show any pictures of the underbody even though it seems he has a garage and most likely access to a lift.

That beast has been around for years!
It is in Marlboro MA about 75 miles away.
Guy raised its price from $7500 to $10,000.
Some good marketing.
Would love to see the bottom.

Well, if it does not sell, raise the price. lol
Re: Found on CL - (Not Mine)
And leave the plow on it, that always adds value to any old vehicle. This add belongs in you "delusional sellers" list.
