Gauges
Hey fellers.
I am looking for 2 gauges. I have tried all of the dealers, and looked through my entire pile. I am needing the gauges with the black wire coiled under the needle. I am needing the Oil pressure and the fuel gauge of that type.
Any chance any of you have one or both sitting around in New Old Stock condition? I will pay, or can trade NOS or used parts.
Please let me know. This is the LAST thing i am lacking.
Thanks a lot!
Sean

Re: Gauges
The gauge needle pivots through a hole in the front plate so no coil shows.

Re: Gauges
I have seen the gauges he is talking about where the coil is exposed but it was always on old radio equipment.

I now have all of them except the fuel gauge. If any of you fools have one laying around, please let me know!

Let me look in my pile. I remember seeing one. It might have the coil showing but I remember seeing a copper color. Alan

Re: Gauges
Is there a certain time frame or model these were put on? Why the difference?

Calling us fools is certain to get you a good result. I know I am really motivated to run out and check my stash now.

Re: Gauges
Dang it! I was trying to remember to dig though my gauges on Sat and got busy, then on Sunday too. Too many distractions.

Re: Gauges
I tried to send an e-mail but it didn't work so here are some photos of what I have. I found an oil and temp gauge that have the coil but the fuel one does not.
