Brake pedal assembly parts - Problem solved.
Referencing brake pedal assembly parts -
I'm trying to locate four nylon bushings for my project. These bushings go over the eccentric cam on the transverse bolt that goes through the push-rod eye on the master cylinder. The eccentric bolt that uses the bushings I am seeking is used to level your brake and clutch pedals so that they rest on the same plane.
These bushings can be seen in the 34P Manual (available here on the G838), page 84-1, at the bottom center of Figure 84, indicated as item 21 (Part Number 7017616) and therein described as bushing, brake.
34P is found here - g838_manuals/TM_9-2320-218-34P.pdf
What have you?
Cheers,
TJ

Re: Brake pedal assembly parts
What levels the brake and clutch pedals is the rubber bumpers that are also referenced in there but I am NOT scrolling all the way back there again! Look in your mutt under the dash at the stop that hits the bumpers under there. Those bumpers by the are the same as the ones on the top of the windshield of an A1. Unless you are talking about the height of the pedal referenced to the floor.

I remember those. I see one place overseas that has them. https://webwinkel.truckpartstrading.nl/ ... 77959.html
Not much luck over here. Other numbers to look under https://www.newcenturycomponents.com/ns ... 0-177-7959

TJ....
that eccentric bolt is for adjusting the brake pedal free-travel and not the height of the pedal. Here's the evidence:-

Re: Brake pedal assembly parts
And those brackets sticking out at the top in the picture right there bear against the bump stops under the dash. Which you may or may not have on the buggy.

Re: Brake pedal assembly parts
I'm not looking for rubber baby buggy bumpers or rubber bumpers of any kind. But thanks for the come-back.
I'm looking for FOUR of the nylon bushings that fit on the eccentric cam that is part of the transverse bolt...which is what goes through the ring-eye of the push-rod that actuates the master cylinder. I couldn't have been any more plain about it. Since I don't have photo capabilities at the moment, I gave you chapter and verse and the number of the diagram.
And, yes, the eccentric cam DOES have the effect of leveling the pedals, (at the brake pedal). They call it free travel. I call it leveling the pedals. What I don't know is how we got off on this bumper tangent.... aww the heck with it. Read the first post, or don't and forget about the bumpers altogether. They have nothing to do with what I'm trying to achieve.
Cheers,
TJ

Yep. NSN 5365-00-177-7959 is it. That link to the Netherlands won't allow me to get through the checkout process as it doesn't permit me to enter United States as a shipping destination. Grrrr.
Thank you Dan.

Get it shipped to Ken or George and I am sure they would be glad to ship it here.

HAHAHA!! we posted almost the same links, I didn't even click on your links, saw the photo below them and thought you were talking about them.
TJ, if you click on the FAQ in the NSN links it gives more information and a request form.

Re: Brake pedal assembly parts
Everyone calm down! This virus thing is getting to everybody. For me the stay at home thing is nothing new, I can't really do much so it is normal for me but I see a lot of tension building up in people on here. This will pass. Hopefully we will all survive. The world is definitely not going to end either way.

Re: Brake pedal assembly parts
RAPCO is going to see if they can recover some from the used parts piles. Don't have an immediate need (at this point) and if push comes to shove, I may be able to re-engineer the bolt & bushing assembly since, in the Doom Buggy application, the eccentric quality of the bolt isn't going to be needed. There's no shortage of general purpose bushings out there.
Re: Brake pedal assembly parts
I was hoping the very happy emoji at the end would have conveyed the lighthearted sarcasm I had intended.
