Hi guys,
last week end i started the setting up of brake shoes and i painted the brake drums but i noticed a strange things : i think drums are not M151 parts since there are three additional holes (not sure of number tbh) so i suppose they are not original , maybe they come from jeep cj or M38... are they suitable for M151 or are there any civilian brake drums suitable for M151?
Im out of home at the moment so i cant post a pic but i ll post one on weekend when i ll be back... i just was thinking about this doubt..

Re: Brake drum from Jeep CJ??
Francesco, they most likely are 151 drums , open this link and go to page 142 and look at Figure 66, a lot of the drums had the extra holes and the spindles had 2 threaded holes for screws that held the drum, you can see both in figure 66. I think they stopped doing that when the A-2 wheel lug nuts and studs were changed. https://www.g838.org/g838_manuals/TM%20 ... 0Dec78.pdf
