How to test a 60 Amp alternator

Unread post by richard » August 17th, 2021, 5:22 pm

Which TM covers the information how to check easily and test a 60 Amp alternator for the M151A2?

I found some information in the TM 9-2920-225-34, but the test environment is very special and not DIY useable.

Please point me to the correct "how to" guide, if there is one.

Thanks a lot in advance.

There was a TM maintenance manual DA PAM 750-33, it doesn't show in my bookmarks I know I made a paper copy, just have to find it.Maybe you can find it on Google?

PS I think it's the right manual

As Mark said, The Pam-75 or 750 is the one that has all of the charging systems in it. Just Google it and it will come up I downloaded it from Pedro's site. I really need to get it up on the 838.

BTW, Glad to hear from you, you had everyone worried when we did not hear from you after the flooding over there and someone said your area was hit pretty hard.

Mark, Rick,

Thank you very much. That is exactly what I've been looking for.

Rick, I'll send you a PM later.

Best regards,
