They have been around for about four years now in the small Jeep style format. Raised quite a stink with Jeep when they hit our shores.

They got caught up in conflict with Jeep I think, they stop making them for a year or two, they made them change the design of the grill, I liked the early ones but the new design of the grill isn't very attractive. A friend left his at our deer camp for the season, it's pretty cool, I don't think he put any diesel in it all season, I would pay $18K for one before I would a SxS.

Assembled in Michigan. Same body, chassis and driveline as the Mahindra Thar, which is a quite capable highway and off road vehicle. The Roxor''s engine has been detuned to limit the speed to keep it in the SxS market. There are kits available to get it back up to highway performance and requirements. Some states will allow you to register a SxS for highway use.

I just looked up the specs on one since I am looking for a side by side and damn! They are as big and heavier than a 151!! 1,000 lbs. heavier, with 10 less horsepower. They do have a low range four wheel drive though.

Why are you looking for a side by side?

I am merely in the opening stages of trying to point out, with the money it would cost to acquire a side-by-side, he could restore to usefulness that old Jeep he claims to have sitting around there somewhere.

And, don't bother the cops. They're already here, having coffee.

They looked exactly like a Jeep when they first came over here.

Jeep/Chrysler very protective of that vertical grill, can't touch it without their permission. They have it locked down tight!

Now it is Fiat/ Chrysler and I think the new Ford Bronco is going to put the Jeep out of business in a couple years. Jeeps have the absolutely worst reliability record out there. They break down at the drop of a hat for no apparent reason. This is NOT something I want to have 200 miles from the nearest garage! The Bronco's have proven to be extremely reliable and on top of that they are every bit as capable as the Jeep. And cheaper in most platforms.

But back to the Roxor, I thought they were a smaller vehicle. Not bigger than a 151. Looks like the plans for the Hiyabusa turbo golf cart are back on the board again.

You mean this old jeep? It does look a little better than this now, this was before pressure washing a couple years ago. Also has hard top and doors now.
