Alloy Thermostat housing replacments

Unread post by Rossco » July 25th, 2023, 6:34 pm

The alloy thermostat cover on my mutt has corroded to such an extent it leaks badly and I need a new one!
Lucky I had an old spare one in my parts box so I can keep the truck on the road but that one is also quite corroded
Are these housings no longer available to buy new as I canot find any on the parts lists of the parts suppliers I normally frequent in the US?
Any suggestions or sources where I can procure one is appreciated

Thanks Mr Recovery
There they are "hiding in plain sight" obviously didn't look hard enough!
So have purchased 2 housings - 1 to use and the other as a spare
I have purchased from TeeJeeper in the past - really great service.
Thank you again

You are welcome. I have also purchased from them many times and had no problems; they have a lot of the hard-to-find parts.
