A day that will live in infamy.

Tomorrow is December 7th. A day we SHOULD all know if not remember. Sadly it is another of those historic days that are quickly disappearing from the American memory. A lot of other major days are just days off and party days to most young people anymore, they have no idea what those holidays are even about. 4th of July and Memorial day are at the top of that list followed by Christmas and Thanksgiving and several others.
I just wanted to put this reminder out there that our freedom did not come free, It has been fought for many times over so we could remain free. At least remember those who have paid the price of freedom!

IT ASHAME SO LITTLE TIME IS SPENT ABOUT THIS WITH THE MAINSTREAM NEWS. HAD AN UNCLE ON A SUB AT PEARL DURING THE ATTACK, THEY SUBMERGED AT THE PIER TO LOWER THIER PROFILE AND SURVIVED. MY DAD LIKE MANY OTHERS AT 16 LIED ABOUT HIS AGE AND JOINED THE NAVY THE FOLLOWING WEEK, SURVIVED THE ENTIRE WAR BUT SPOKE VERY LITTLE OF IT. THE GREATEST GENERATION FOR SURE.....
