GAA grease
I have new wheel bearings and seals inbound. I was able to cross the old GAA mil spec, to a current version, I can purchase for $265.00 a pound. Not afraid to spend the money but figured a 60 plus year old spec is probably outdated by todays standards. What should I use or everyone else is using on wheel bearings, U-Joints, etc.... I was thinking marine grease since it helps keep moisture out but is that good for the high temps of wheel bearings?? Ready for the experts to weigh in...

Re: GAA grease
Save $225, buy a bearing grease packer, grease needle and a tube of hi-temp grease.
Re: GAA grease
265 a pound?!!!! I have got to know where and what that is!!
This is what I use for packing wheel bearings when I have several to do. If I only have one I do it by hand.

And as far as grease, Any brand name grease rated NLGI-2 will work just fine. Here is a link to a case of Valvoline that will work just fine. I have used this for years. And the entire case only costs 50.00.

Re: GAA grease
Don't overthink it.
Any brand name #2 EP multipurpose grease will be more than sufficient for any grease points, including steering, suspension, and u-joints, on a M151.
