wanted demil m151a1 body parts

hi guys

im looking for some demil mutt body parts

if a m151 was cut in a big X from cornor to cornor i would be looking for the passenger side section

anyone have any ?

Well Mike your in luck, this is a good place to start. If it was me, I'd PM ohiomutt on this board, but I'm in Ohio. Where you located? I am assuming you are aware of the reproduction panels available. Whatcha workin on? pictures? How's that fuel pump project coming?

im in north east PA

the fuel pump project is going well i'm waiting on a rebuild kit for the fuel pump side of it

but it looks as thought it is going to work, if it dose i could go into buisness for myself

i heard DL bensinger had some pieces? anyone ever see them?

i am working on rebuilding my M151a1. I know they make new pannels, but being a unemploied college graduate i cant afford new pannels

i figure a chunk of jeep for maybe $100, vs $300+ for all the pannels i need seperatly, oh the joys of unemploiment

the majority of jeeps were cut in half . When the govt realized people were welding them back together they came up with the cross cut which although there were many variations usually was the same half cut, then cut again front to back. People still persisted in welding the pieces together so then they went to cutting them in half, then running a tank over the back half so there was nothing left to weld up lol. Darryl Bensinger has a whole lotta front halves, don't think any rear halves though (see pic of darryls lot)

I just saw him last week in Evansville. I'm pretty sure he'll be in Gilbert, I can find out for you, as I have a backdoor into getting in touch with him. I've never heard he was tough to get in touch with till now, but I can help if needed.
