Hey Ali

Are you also planning to install a CNG Kit?  :P Just Kidding! :D
What is the average KM/Litre you are looking at with this motor?
Are you going to use the original radiator or put in which came with the new motor?
What kind of power are you looking at? 110 bhp,100 bhp,90 bhp? etc

What's your point Ali ?
Anything old is going to be like that. It all boils down to how you keep it.
We are talking about A2s that we have, 1980+ builts. People have gone to depths and still running the 60s 151s in prestine condition on this forum & many off it.
Its not a question of being the best out there, but we all strive to be will all that we've got.

Ali,

There are different perspectives to your statement, i would agree that it is old, clanky and noisy, but you know what i love mine because i like it, there is no other variable in the equation, i really don't care about all its drawbacks, i just love it the way it is and im glad that i've saved one.

You might consider performance, but Sam and me don't care if it is obsolete, bad or anything, we just love to take it for a drive and love its existence.
Owning a vehicle doesn't always come to performance and utility, there is something more, its the love and a special attachment to it.

I've seen people restore vehicles like the 70's Toyota Mark II to a condition which amazes some people and me, frankly there is a difference between your and our purpose of the vehicle, you want it to satisfy you, we just love it for what it is and the history it has.

People on this forum have a very special attachment to the M151 series, its the Love! not its characteristics. No offense but If you don't like your Mutt the way its, sell it somebody who actually would love it for being what it is!

Remember my friend, its all about the LOVE! not about what it can do or what it does!

Try to understand my answer from our perspective! and with a cool mind!
