new years resolution

Unread post by toptiger » December 28th, 2007, 7:56 am

I for one, will promise not return to the issue of the G-503 in 2008. Let's just let it go and move on -
We have all voted with our migration to this forum. I like the friendly atmosphere, passionate members, and the lack of moderators moving posts, even though some of us mis-post here from time to time, is really nothing serious. Kind of like a friendly local bar, a good place to come, have a few, sit a while and bs a bit, too.

May the G 838 continue to grow and prosper in 2008.

Good job, moose, and happy new year to all.

I will do everything I can to leave this in the past. I'd promise but I hate breaking promises. However... I absolutely NEED to not talk about the G503 anymore. It isn't good for me or this forum.

I see no reason for it to be deleted. We've always said it's not one or the other but rather both sites that will better serve the Mutt community. I'd be surprised if it's swept under the carpet. Ron's bigger than that.

Not sure what you are hearing Rick. I am sick of the subject though.

TopTiger's post is gone. That was to be expected really. Regardless I personally will do my part to leave these discussions in the dark, or off the public forum, so we can all move on. I apologize to all of you for playing a role in perpetuating the negativity of the G503 saga. I realize that it only hurts this place and make me seem spiteful. Not at all my intention. So... a new year and a new leaf? I will try my best :!:

g-503 hypocracy

Unread post by toptiger » December 30th, 2007, 9:40 am

you got that right rickf, it was gone shortly after posting. without a trace, even.
as i have only today and tomorrow to discuss this subject then my resolution kicks in and its over.... and for those who aren't following, on sat am i posted a small post on g-503 discussion section which just said something along the line of 'another M151 site' and gave this address.
it was not only deleted but vaporized- no record exists but ron didn't do it fast enough as someone replied and i got notified.
after all his smiley posts on this site and his 'glad to have another forum' BS, ron showed his true colors.
HYPOCRITE? you be the judge.

moose53 wrote:Okay guys, I think this has been gone over enough, for whatever its worth, this site was NOT created out of any vindictiveness or ill feeling toward Ron or G503. It was only done to try to save the information resources and sense of community among the 151 owners which it seemed at the time would be lost. I still regularly visit Rons site, and I still encourage everyone to do likewise. All this discussion here of whatever is going on at G503 is becoming counterproductive, and starting to create a negative effect here. If you have differences with G503 or Ron, I'd suggest you voice them there, not here. Please.....let it go, and move on. We have this site now, what went on there is water under the bridge....this site is what we will make of it.
