Carb Poll

The Zenith Carb Poll!
I've had the worst day Ever! 115 Degrees, 90% Humidity, and the Mutt dies on me!
Then the best part! Worked for 8 hours on it just to get it running!

The carb will work great if it is fed clean fresh fuel...I run 2 fuel filters .....( I did let mine set for a lonf time and the gas went bad so I recently cleaned the carb and fuel system , all is great now....I use 1/4 choke to start let it warm about 3 or 4 minutes push choke in and it will then take all the fuel you want to give it without hesitation....
slowest mutt east of the missippi..

I put my $0.02 vote in...I don't have the hours/miles that most of the G guys have in their Mutts but the carb has treated me good so far and is pretty simple to work on. The difficulty lies in the troubleshooting..

I used to have my choke 1/4 out and that is the best way to keep my mutt run perfect!!!When i push the choke in then my mutt needs more fuel!!! :? So 1/4 always out and solve the problem!!I do not know if that effects the fact that maybe "eat" more fuel but I haven't I think sth else to do!!! :?

Full choke to start
Push in to 1/4 immediately after start
Run for 3 to 4 minutes
Push in choke
Go like Hell
