Rick,
I am the biggest idiot in the world.
. The spark plug cable on cylinder no 2 was bad, that's why it was not idling properly and i felt the jolt, but its all good now, the mutt seems to run better on these plugs, somewhat smoother and quieter
maybe its the pipe
but anyways after a few miles i'll pull the plugs and take some pictures and pop them in.
Sam,
The purpose of that oil bath is to filter the air, but the thing is it sucks in air through the hole rapidly then is the bowl which is big, so when air expands it cools down, the particles settle down on the oil, and the oil itself is a heat exchanger, you are taking the principle macro, but its micro, every car has its intake in the bay, even cold air intakes are mounted in the bay for any car where the air is hot, the principle applies to the movement of the air through the intake, so i think its pretty much cold air it sucks in. Since being a self-proclaimed idiot, i apologize if i've offended you, but i agree with Rick totally.
Yo Rainman!
All i need is some silicone and grease, and man i'm sinking this mutt deep
....Kidding!
The mechanic who overhauled the engine, is a personal friend, also a fan of the mutt, so he is very eager to ford in it! He's got a trick up his sleeve for the plugs, just waiting for him to let it out?
PS... Rick, any advice how to water proof these plugs? Silicone?
