Busy Weekend

Unread post by Cobra5 » August 24th, 2009, 12:23 am

Well I finished riping apart one of the A-1's and now I'm tearing into the second one. I think this one will be a parts donor because the unibody is shot and it needs a lot of sheetmetal work. It's a shame because this one is a uncut and has its BUDD Tag. The other is a reweld without a BUDD Tag but the unibody is the best of the two. I attached a few photos for your enjoyment.

66 A-1 This one is a reweld.

67 A-1 This will be the uncut parts vehicle. I'll take some photos of the floor pans and underside.

You know, that is a very good way of storing tools, and especially in the mutt, no rust and they squeeze in the tool compartment very easily rather than the box tray. I also store my ammo in these types of bags.

Here are the underside pictures of the 67 and I discovered it too is a reweld. I know worst have been saved but this is way more than I'm willing to tackle.
