Gotta agree. One handed in BO on a moonless night half asleep at 03?? hrs, the lever type switch is fine with me. That said the new switch is muscle memory and justifying putting another circuit board where is doesn't need to be (toasters, refrigerators, flashlights, etc.).

I must be getting old in my 42 years, I sound like my grandfather.

The original switch was too simple, reliable, durable and easy to repair.

You KNOW the DOD can't let that condition remain any longer than it takes to find a fragile, complicated replacement that's harder to operate in the field.

The first time I saw one, I decided that I'd found the right switch to use if I ever put blackouts on a BMW.
