Steering wheel

Unread post by dcartledge » December 1st, 2010, 10:28 am

My a1 has an a2 steering wheel on it - I want to replace it with the correct a1 wheel. Do I need to change out the entire column or wil it simply slide on?

It should just slide on, you can not out an A1 wheel on an A2 column because of the molding under the wheel. Make sure you have an A1 column, it should be one piece right to the box. The A2 has a rag joint at the bottom of the column before the box.
