I saw that story a couple of years ago, truely amazing. All of them are Heroes in my book, God bless them all!

On the Flip side that rocket was dead the moment it went through the windshield. The way a PG-7 works is two ways, 1st. you shoot the rocket, if you don't hit anything and it continues to fly it will self detonate at 1000 meters. 2nd If the grenade hits something and it doesn't imediately blow up it instantly shorts itself out leaving it essentially dead. In this instance the front half of the rocket/grenade broke off and veered away allowing the booster to enter the vehicle and that soldier. Because the Pizo electric fuze didn't set it off it went dead in turn shutting off the detonator.

Here's a pic of my PG-7
