Frederic, the wheel rim on the "passenger" side of the trailer looks like a wheel off an M422 Mity Mite. the other wheel looks like a standard M416 / M151 steel wheel rim.

I have never measured the ropes but would estimate them varying between 18 and 24 inches.
Mine does not show it ever having a star painted on it
